Summer Graduation

Before we headed into the Hocking Hills we had something to celebrate.  Dana, my husband, finished up 18 grueling months of a Masters in Business Administration and now it was time to graduate and party!

My whole family, Dana’s mom and aunt met up with us at the Holiday Inn Express in Grove City outside of  Columbus, Ohio.   We had a big dinner at Logan’s Roadhouse – Easton Crossing, enjoying steak, seafood and burgers.  Logan’s gave us great food and service and a big Yee-Haw! in celebration of Dana’s combined birthday and graduation.

The Franklin University summer graduation was held the next day at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in downtown Columbus.  Dana not only got his MBA but also a Leader Scholar award for his excellent GPA.  If you know Dana you will not be surprised by this, he has been ruining the grading curve since junior high school!

The party continued that night with pizza and beer at Roosters in Grove City.  We had a wonderful weekend with family and were glad to have the opportunity to celebrate Dana’s achievements.

Monday, we bid everybody adieu, even our son.  We sent him home with his Grandma Kennedy.  After all this we needed a relaxing week in Hocking Hills!

Thanks for all your good wishes and congratulations! We are all proud of him and he is glad it’s over. We were both impressed with Franklin’s on-line classes, faculty and advisors. He had students from all over the USA and the world in his classes.

Don't be shy, speak up!
