Lighthouse in Ice – Photo of the day

Just had to post this photo by  Vince Grzegorek via WKYC, who captured some pretty stunning images and video from the shores of Lake Erie as a chilly combo of ice, waves, wind, and cold covered a lighthouse and other shoreline structures in beautiful ice.

It doesn’t look real.  Hey crafters, how about making this into a Christmas ornament?

To see some great video of the icy lake and waves crashing over this structure click on this link

Very cool parden the pun (o: I bet that ice weighs a lot, 12 of inches snow on my car port brought the roof crashing down, sheered 6 x 5mm thick big long screws off !!!!

What an extraordinary sight! I thought it had perhaps been covered in snow by means of one of those gigantic blowers that the movie industry uses. It doesn’t look real. Did you go up yourself to check it? 🙂

Don't be shy, speak up!
