Speaking of National Parks – Rocky Mountain

Early Morning Wake-up Call

Just a few days ago my brother, Larry and his wife, Lynne,  made an early morning trip from their house in Denver to Rocky Mountain National Park.  He sent me these great photos:

Several years ago we visited the park (pre-digital photography so all my photos are on paper).  It is a beautiful place.  What I remember most was that we pulled into a campsite west of Denver late at night, set up our tent in the pitch dark, rolled out our sleeping bags and went to sleep.  The next morning I stepped out of the tent to the gorgeous sight of the mountains in the sunshine.  It was breathtaking …  me thinks a trip to visit brother Larry is in order!
