This furry red squirrel is enjoying a feast of sunflower seeds and corn. Good thing Andy filled the feeders before the snow storm started today!

That’s a great photo! We were feeling sorry for a squirrel rummaging around the base of our feeder pole in the snow without seeming to have much luck. After he left, Bob took some raw peanuts out and dropped them at the feeder base. He’s since come back and gathered them up.
Good for Andy! (Stay warm, you guys.)
Great photo! Have you ever fed the chickadees at the Brecksville metropark?
Meanwhile, here’s some fun with snow in Lakewood:

Oh, brrr, the poor squirrel, he must’ve been freezing – so glad Andy filled the feeder in time!
They have a pretty thick fur coat by this time of year. Been bulking up on my sunflower seeds all fall!
